The Life of a Hydrangea tutu has a multi layered puffball skirt, created using different shades of soft tulle and naturally dyed English silk net. I assembled the bodice panel using lace, silk and metallic dupion and edged it with some antique metal trim.
At the waistline there is a glass crystal cut swag style beaded sash. The dress is lightly scalloped at the front, the underside is lined with chiffon. The dress also features silk ribbons and antique lace here and there.
The oversized bow has been hand embroidered using silk ribbon and and both cotton and silk threads. The bow itself is silk muslin (front) and peach silk (back).
Aged to appear well loved.
Lined with cotton and chiffon, fastens with metal snaps.
